Gynecology and Obstetrics

Fusun Terzioglu graduated in first place from Hacettepe University in 1989. She won the İhsan Dogramacı Superior Merit Award and Student Science Incentive Award. She studied about counseling on assisted reproductive techniques at Liverpool Women’s Hospital Reproductive Medicine Unit in United Kingdom. In 2007, she worked on a project named “Development of Leadership Skills in Nursing Doctoral Students” at University of Michigan Faculty of Nursing. She worked as a Research Assistant at Hacettepe University School of Nursing in the Maternity and Women's Health Nursing Division from 1990 to 1997. She was promoted to Assistant Professor in 1998, Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor in 2012. She worked as a Co-Head of Nursing Department, Erasmus Department Coordinator, Head of Strategic Planning Group and board member of Hacettepe University Women’s Research and Implementation Center (HUWRICH) between 2009 and 2011. Her interest subjects are sexuality and reproductive health and management and leadership. She is member of national and international nurse’s organizations such as INDEN and Sigma Theta Tau. She has been working as a Director of Nursing Services at Hacettepe University Hospitals since September 2012 and Founding Dean of Faculty of Nursing between 2012- 2013.

Dr Gopa Chowdhury, Rtd. Associate Prof, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MD, FICOG, has her expertise in different areas of Gynecology and Obstetrics and is passionate about spreading her knowledge through papers, articles, Knowledge sessions and her work with patients in the rural region of Jharkhand. She is an Executive member of ROGS and has held different positions as Speaker, Panelist, Chair-person in ROGS and National conferences. Dr Gopa was also the Vice President – FOGSI ROGS (Ranchi Obst, & Gynae Society); 2013-2015 and is an ongoing active member of the group. Besides her work as Associate Prof., she Several Papers published in State, National, International Journals and has been an active participant in CMEs, Conferences (State, National, International): FIGO-SAFOG, RCOG, FIGO, AOCOG, SICOG (research paper presentation), National-YUVA- FOGSI, AICOG as delegate and faculty

Nelly Staderini is the Sexual and Reproductive Health referent in the medical department of MSF Geneva since 8 years. She has a midwifery and Public Health background with few years of field experiences in different positions in Humanitarian settings including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Chad, Cambodia and Burundi. She had pubhised articles in journals, reviews and books on traditional birth attendant, nutrition, cholera, HIV and pregnancy and more recently on abortion.

Wassil Nowicky is working as the Director of Nowicky Pharma and the President of the Ukrainian Anti-Cancer Institute (Vienna, Austria). He has finished his studies at the Radiotechnical Faculty of the Technical University of Lviv (Ukraine) at the end of 1955 with graduation to “Diplomingeniueur” in 1960 which title was nostrificated in Austria in 1975. He is the Inventor of the anticancer preparation on basis of celandine alkaloids “NSC-631570”. He is the Author of over 300 scientific articles dedicated to cancer research. He is a Real Member of the New York Academy of Sciences, Member of the European Union for Applied Immunology and of the American Association for Scientific Progress, Honorary Doctor of the Janka Kupala University in Hrodno, Doctor “Honoris Causa” of the Open International University on Complex Medicine in Colombo, Honorary Member of the Austrian Society of a name od Albert Schweizer. He has received the award of merits from National Guild of Pharmacists of America, the Award of Austrian Society of Sanitary, Hygiene and Public Health Services and others.

Liane Deligdisch graduated Medical School in Bucharest, Romania. Following positions were: Gynecologist and General Physician in Romania until 1963, Pathologist at the Ichilov Hospital, Tel Aviv Medical School, Israel 1963 to 1975, Visiting Professor Magee Women Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.; 1975-6 Boston Free Hospital for Women, Harvard Medical School ; 1976 to present The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, full Professor of Pathology and Obstetrics-Gynecology and Attending since 1986. Founded the division of Gynecologic Pathology and directed the course of Gynecologic Pathology at the Medical School, Authored 143 peer reviewed articles , 7 textbooks on Gynecologic Pathology.
